Damar Hamlin is allegedly awake and has been holding hands with his family in the hospital, his agent tells to outlet. The Buffalo Bills player had been in a medically-induced coma at the hospital ever since the 24-year-old’s in-game cardiac arrest on Monday.
His agent Ron Butler shared the news on Thursday to a outlet, with one of Hamlin’s teammates, Bills cornerback Kaiir Elam, including he’s also “showing more signs of improvement.”

“Our legend is doing great, awake and showing more signs of improvement. Grateful to God,” Elam wrote on tweeter on Thursday morning.

“According to the physicians caring for Damar Hamlin at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Damar has shown notable health improvement regarding to the past 24 hours,” the Bills tweeted.
“While still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he looked to be neurologically intact. His lungs continue to improve and he is making steady progress.
