Wendy Williams‘ former-spouse, Kevin Hunter, has reportedly made a new filing in court. As per to The U.S. Sun, Hunter is apparently trying to cash in on his former-wife’s funds.
As per to the outlet, Hunter is demanding to receive two years of back divorce, also known as severance payments, from Williams. The 51-year-old reportedly claimed that the payments were agreed upon in the pair’s Marital Settlement Agreement. To note, Hunter and Williams finalized their divorce in January 2020 after 22 years of wedding, according to media outlet.
But, Hunter alleges that he stopped receiving money from Williams when her legal guardian started in 2022.
“I have not received my severance payments since January of 2022, which Plaintiff is required to make pursuant to the Matrimonial Settlement Agreement.
This is an emergent matter because I rely on the severance pay for my living expenses and having been without this income for 23 months has affected me greatly,” Hunter reportedly reported at the court, per media.
“Therefore, I respectfully demand that the Court require [Wendy] to immediately pay all severance payments which may be due and owing at the time of this Court’s Order.”
As per to outlet, the couple agreed on a severance package at the time of their divorce finalization. But, the amount Hunter would receive from Williams was “confidential.”
