A recent tweet from the Queens-born rapper and television celebrity hinted that he’s moved on from his estranged wife, Tammy Rivera.
The post has many fans curiosity, could Waka Flocka be ready to debut his new flame?
Born Juaquin James Malphurs, the Atlanta-bred rapper known as Waka Flocka Flame’s love story with Tammy Rivera began in 2011.
He remembered to the NY Post his first sighting of who he’d finally choose to be his wife when the two happened to be in Miami simultaneously.
Rivera, who was on trip with some friends, was rocking a “peppermint dress… looking so good,” Waka stated.
The “No Hands” rapper, who was in Miami for a club performance, also recalled the impact of Tammy Rivera’s “energy” along with her full look.
And beside from this, Rivera reflects on their happenstance meeting at a “classy place” in place of the club her friend initially intended for them to attend.
She remembered that within moments, “He said to me I was going to be his wife the first time we encounter.” 3 years later, on the 25th of May, Waka Flocka Flame and Tammy Rivera made it public and exchanged promises.
But, there was no rich ceremony. As per to media, Rivera preferred to have the wedding of her dreams when the duo embarked on their 5-year mark.
True to their vows, Waka Flocka Flame and Tammy Rivera had a beautiful ceremony in 2019 to commemorate their promises.
The duo renewed their promises in Mexico. “When God made Waka, he wrote my name beside his,” said Rivera to PEOPLE. Including, the rapper showed that he “never knew what love was until he encounter Tammy.”
