When Shaquille O’Neal posted a photo of himself from a hospital bed, his followers became concerned.
The 7-foot-one-inch native of Newark, who is a Hall of Famer and has 4 NBA championships to his name, was sometimes seen plugged into equipment.
Naturally, this led numerous people to concern what was wrong .O’Neal wrote to the picture with, “I’m always watching @TurnerSportsEJ and @Candace_Parker miss y’all,” and comments begins pouring in.
O’Neal then made the decision to go public with the real cause of his hospitalization, but he did so in his own unique way by making fun of it by saying he was undergoing “Brazilian butt lift” treatment, which made people laugh.
“To all the people who are worried. First let me start off by saying thank you,” he started his March 20 Instagram post.
“And lastly i am alright. Just had to get some BBL work done aka #hipreplacement. However, yes i am fine no need to concern.”
As expected, this gathered the comfort of many. “Lol Sending get well wishes for a speedy & healthy recovery,” one of his fans commented. Meanwhile, another dubbed the NBA player “Cheekquille O’Neal.”
After being challenged about his look by a close friend, O’Neal was able to reduce a large amount of weight. He is regarded as one of the best athletes of all time due to his outstanding career. We hope he recovers soon.
