There were rumors while Jay-Z was uncomfortable with their closeness, leading to assumption that something more than a professional connection might be happening between Shawn Paul and Beyoncé.
Shawn Paul recounts incidents of sabotage at the time of their performances together. He describes a matter where his microphone was intentionally turned off during a live performance, affecting the energy of the crowd and creating an awkward experience. This sabotage occurred at least twice, raising suspicions that someone was attempting to harm his reputation.
