Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones has reportedly amended his sexual assault case against Diddy to added Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant.
As per to USA Today, on Monday, March 25, Jones added Cuba Gooding Jr. as a defendant in his case against Diddy. The amendment reportedly occurred “hours” after Homeland Security Investigations released Diddy’s Los Angeles and Miami homes.
NBC News contains that Jones’ amended complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court in Manhattan, New York
The update reportedly claimed that Gooding Jr. “groped Jones” while on the music mogul’s yacht. The incident reportedly took place in the U.S. Virgin Islands in January 2023.
“[Gooding] started touching, groping, and fondling Mr. Jones’ legs, his upper inner thighs near his groin, the small of his back near his buttocks, and his shoulders,” the suit told, according to NBC News. “[Jones] was extremely uncomfortable and proceeded to lean away from Mr. Gooding Jr. He rejected his advances and Mr. Gooding Jr. did not stop until Mr. Jones forcibly pushed him away.”
As per to USA Today, Jones’ case includes a image of him alongside the actor. In the picture, the actor allegedly has his arm around Jones. Another picture shows Gooding Jr. and Diddy speaking while on the aforementioned yacht.
NBC News reports that representatives for the music mogul have not responded to a request for comment. Including, representatives for Gooding Jr. have yet to respond to the outlet.
Furthermore, the media notes that in 2022, Gooding Jr. pleaded guilty to forcibly touching a nightclub worker in 2018. But, he ultimately did not serve prison time.
